Guided by: Authentic Guardians of the Noke Koî People

Who are the Noke Koî?
The Noke Koî, whose name translates to the “True People,” are an indigenous group of approximately 740 individuals living in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon. They reside in 13 autonomous villages across the Campinas Katukina and Rio Gregório indigenous lands in Acre. Despite modern pressures, they remain united by their ancient traditions, their native language (Noke Vana), and a deep spiritual connection to the earth.

The Mission of the Noke Koî Institute
This retreat is held in partnership with the Noke Koî Institute, founded in 2024 by Cacique Môcha. The institute’s mission is to protect their culture, promote reforestation, and connect the world to the wisdom of the forest with respect and integrity. By participating in this retreat, you are directly supporting:

Cultural Preservation: Helping to keep the Noke Vana language and sacred chants (Txirîti) alive.

Reforestation: Aiding efforts to restore native species and food security in their territory.

Village Autonomy: Supporting the construction of cultural centers and sustainable infrastructure.

The Journey and Sacred Medicines
Over two days, you will be guided by authentic guardians—such as an indigenous couple and spiritual protectors—who will share the “School of Ancestral Knowledge”.

Day 1 (June 5): Purification & Alignment Experience the ancestral application of Rapé (sacred tobacco snuff) and Sananga (sacred eye drops). These medicines are used by the Noke Koî to clear physical and spiritual blockages, align the mind, and sharpen the senses.

Day 2 (June 6): The Grand Ayahuasca Ceremony A profound immersion into the spirit of the forest through a traditional Ayahuasca ceremony led by Noke Koî elders. This ceremony, known as the “Touch of the Light,” offers a rare path to healing, vision, and connection to the origin.

Why this Retreat is Special
This is more than a wellness event; it is a living encounter with a resistance culture that has survived decades of displacement to protect their spirituality. You will sit in a circle where orality and collective living are the primary ways of transmitting knowledge.

Join us to become a guardian of the forest and its ancestral wisdom.
